Happy November Parents!

I want to explain how thrilled I am at how well everyone has done this year. The awards ceremony was beautiful. I love seeing everyone's faces light up to see how well they did on their projects this year. Enclosed you will find a list of who won what awards. I am proud of everyone!

I also want to bring your attention to a very important matter. Please remember that it is increasingly difficult to hold meetings when only a few people attend. If we have only 3 children at a meeting, it is difficult to keep everyone up to date. While I know we are all busy and have lots going on between school and other extra-curricular activities, please remember your committment to an organization you know and love.

Our November meetings are the 14th and the 28th. We will be having our own Jr. Grange election on the 14th to elect new officers. We will begin looking at new fundraisers, the holiday party for December or January and a new organization system we will be using for everyone to earn points to earn prizes such as gift certificates, a pizza party, a field trip, movie night, etc. Children can earn points just for attending meetings, and having you sign their newsletter (Children will be getting their own newsletters now, too!), as well as completing extra special projects in between meetings (they can find this information in their newsletters). We will discuss this in further detail at the next meeting.

Thank you for all who helped at the Halloween Party! We had 30 children in attendance, and the grange has spread their word. Nice job!
